Katalina Watt

As Community and Events Manager, Katalina oversees all workshops, classes, and live events. Katalina worked for over ten years in the book industry across award-winning projects in arts funding and audio publishing. As an author, Katalina was selected for a 2025 Literature Matters Award from the Royal Society of Literature and was an AIR Literature UNESCO 2024 Gothenburg Writer in Residence. Katalina read English Literature at the University of Glasgow and Publishing at Edinburgh Napier University.

As an author, Katalina was selected for a 2025 Literature Matters Award from the Royal Society of Literature and was an AIR Literature UNESCO 2024 Gothenburg Writer in Residence. Their debut epic fantasy novel, Saltswept, is forthcoming from Hodderscape in 2026, with the sequel to follow in 2027.
