Elsa Doig
As Events Manager, Elsa oversees all workshops, classes, and live events for up-to-the-minute insights from across the publishing industry. Managing more than 60 live workshops and group classes every month, Elsa also ensures the smooth running of our writers’ online home at The Novelry Live. Previously, Elsa gained experience at literary agency Peters Fraser + Dunlop, Deliciously Ella, and the EmpowHer Society. Elsa has an MA (first class) in English Language and Literature from St. Andrews University.

As our Events Manager, Elsa looks after our writer members to ensure they get the workshops, classes and live events that cover all their needs, including up-to-the-minute insights from bestselling authors, leading literary agents and publishing industry professionals. She schedules over 60 live classes every month, including our daily Golden Hour. She ensures the smooth running of our writers’ experiences of everything The Novelry has to offer. As our Collaborations Manager, Elsa is the go-to person for happy partnerships and outreach within the wider writing community worldwide.
With a first class degree in English from St. Andrews University, where she managed a leading society, and experience at literary agencies too, Elsa is a keen fiction reader who brings warmth and care to our provision of an outstanding world-class program for writers.
