I've been enjoying a spot of Gertrude Stein's 'How To Write' which you can buy here. It was this great lady to whom Hemingway turned for writerly advice (read more below.)

'If you can't say anything nice about anyone else, come sit next to me.” Gertrude Stein.

I was thrilled to spot this amongst her gems:

She's right.
